Learning How To Deal With Guilt; Living A Lifetime Of Freedom in Only 10 Days!

Have you ever thought about what it'd be to enjoy your life in freedom from guilt without the haunting feeling of regret and remorse continually lingering in the recesses of your mind? Guilt is a difficult problem for numerous folks and the way to cope with guilt is a gurey asked by many.

Rather than asking how an individual can cope with their guilt, maybe a better question might be "How do I remove my guilt?" If a person really wishes to live a life free from its clutches. Dealing has the implication of skating by or simply surviving the circumstances. It does not have feelings of liberation. It implies you are under some kind of burden.

Shedding your guilt is possible though not thru any program, therapy or any practice invented by man. Guilt is the results of your sin, which is doing, pronouncing or believing anything that is contrary to what God wants us to think. That is not a legalistic approach to life, but instead selecting to live (or not live) according to the elements set forth in in Scripture, which ultimately leads to real joy, liberty and a calmness. Living a life against the Bible is sin, which results in guilt. In Romans, chapter 1, it says that we are created with an innate awareness of God and His attributes and trying to put a cloth over the truth will not alter it.

The most horrible thing about your sin, leading to guilt, is that it removes us from God. That separation, if not revived, leads to spiritual death and separation from God for good. Thankfully, God longs for all broken relations to be revived and has provided a method for your reconciliation. Reconciliation occurs when one believes that God sent His Son, Jesus, to be crucified on a cross as a sacrifice for their sins and acknowledge their desperate need for God's Son's sacrifice. Thru Jesus cruel death on the cross, God's Son provides for any person who believes to get God's forgiveness of all their sin, irrespective of how great or small. God alone is wanting to pardon (officially release from any punishment i.e, unending death) and pardon any one who request and believe. After our forgiveness, we are no longer guilty for He pardons our sin and removes the guilt of our sins. God does this because of His agape love for us and His want that we live our life forgiven and set free from the guilt that debilitates and weighs us down.

Does that suggest we will not keep doing things that lead us to guilt? Absolutely not, but our Father says when that happens if we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and just to pardon each of us our sins and will clean us from all our unrighteousness. I John 19.

There is no reason for this guilt to weigh you down any longer, not when God, the only One with the power to pardon, is prepared and willing and eager to pardon you and set you free.
